“I saved up money to be here today,” said Susan Chickowski, 38, a florist from Saskatchewan, Canada.

“When she passed away, I felt like I’d lost my best friend. She’s been such a big part of my life,” Chickowski said. “Now it’s time to move on, 10 years on, for myself personally.”

Really, Susan? It was like your best friend died? I’m pretty sure it was, except of course for the fact that she wasn’t your best friend and you likely never even met her. I assume your reaction would be something like the following:

Next on the Chinese toy recall list - Hasbro’s Glo Friends (with real plutonium!). It’s coming to the point that I am beginning that this is all a part of a general plan for world domination by the Chinese. The new generation of North American kids will be cancer-ridden and brain-damaged from toxic Chinese toys, while all the Chinese kids will grow up strong and healthy after playing with secretly-made organic wooden toys.

Cheers, and have a good long weekend.
